NEWEST ADDITION TO THE BIRMINGHAM SYMPHONY HALL COLLECTION

On November 6th the Birmingham Symphony Hall and the CBSO (City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra) organized a post-concert reception to present the painting of Music Director Andris Nelsons conducting Beethoven's Seventh Symphony. As he viewed the painting after the photo shoot, Andris said “It's an amazing piece of art and exactly how I feel when I conduct”.
The Birmingham Symphony Hall Collection includes twenty-eight other Perryman portraits – the largest in the world – including world-famous musicians such as Bryn Terfel, Sir Simon Rattle, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Yehudi Menuhin and Valery Gergiev.
